Sangria has been enjoyed for thousands of years and is, essentially, a type of wine punch. It gets its name from the Spanish word "sangre," meaning blood, which refers to its dark color.
There is no standard recipe for Sangria, making it ideal to serve for impromptu get-togethers with what you have on hand.
Serve this anytime of year with this basic formula:
One or two liquids + A few fruits + A simple garnish= Festive Goddess Cocktail
Simply mix and match to your liking. Choose one or two liquids, whichever fruits you like and let chill in the fridge for 24 hours, if possible. Add garnish and serve over ice.
